About Me

Everything babies, that is me!  This passion has led me on the paths I have taken in my life as a teacher, a wife, a mother, and an advocate for prenatal care, childbirth education, and postpartum support.
I love teaching others and enjoy explaining things to them. If they do not understand something, then I seek alternate ways to help them come to an understanding of it! I strive to guide my clients to make their learning meaningful and apply it to their life.
My husband and I value our home, exercising, gardening, travelling, and spending time with our four children and nine grandchildren. We are blessed to live close to all of them and treasure our family gatherings!
I gave birth to my two biological children during a time when society expected parents to do what the doctor said, no questions asked! Thankfully, this philosophy has changed, and expectant parents are provided with evidence-based information to help them make their decisions for birth.
I am a certified teacher with a BA in Family and Consumer Sciences, and have experience teaching human growth and development.
My desire to know more about pregnancy, birth and babies has steered me to pursue training as: Lamaze Childbirth Educator (LCCE), Certified Lactation Educator (CLE), Certified New Parent Educator, Certified Babywearing Instructor, HUG Instructor, and Certified Postpartum Doula.
